![]() It's lame that all the teaching is down to the rest of the players instead of something being included in the game in some way, a ghost for the bronze requirement of regional licenses would give new players some instant feedback. Then you have the irritating resets on time trials and you've got yourself a recipe for rage. The other common example being the AI's strange tendency to corner near the limit (or seemingly beyond any player limit) then drop a second on the straight. For example there's already a number of posts about the racing line being incorrect ranging from slow to downright impossible to match, so it's making new players think they're doing something wrong when in reality the braking marker on the line is far too early or too late. To make matters worse the game is making players think they're doing things wrong when they might not be. Compare to say Gran Turismo license tests which specifically focus on a skill and start with very short bursts (20 seconds) and work your way up to larger sections with text explanations on each exercise. I also think the game does an awful job of introducing new players and explaining how to ride well. Yup myself and many others have been saying the very same thing, for days now. This could be fixed by enabling rewind or scaling the time requirements to difficulty setting. ![]() There is a reason that people enable assists and turn the difficulty down to 20%. This is fine for people who want a challenge, but for the people that just want to enjoy the pleasure of riding a digital motorcycle this is pure gore. Ride 4 will reset the race when you leave the track or fall of the bike with no chance of rewinding. Whereas Ride 3 gave you the ability to rewind and beat the time trial. But the difficulties of the time trials are ridiculous. Secondly, The difficulties of the races are alright. At least ride 3 gave you the freedom to just skip it and jump into a race, The license events are very similar in difficulty to ride 3's "School of Speed"magazines. I found the American license the easiest to get and the European to be the most difficult one. Etc.īut, Ride 4 forces people to first get the regional license before competing in a race. The sound is great and every bike sounds different. Ride 4's graphics are fair and they are definitely better than Ride 3.
